By screening some of the most recent and exciting films about mountain issues, environment, cultures, communities and societies from various corners of the world along with various other activities during the festival KIMFF seeks to demonstrate the complexity and diversity of mountain life. We are, at the moment, soliciting entries for the festival, and we hope you can participate by sending relevant films you may have directed or produced in the last three years. WASH Media Awards Recognising print, electronic, and broadcast media journalism on water supply, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) issues from journalists in developing countries with the intention of encouraging broader media coverage of, and increased awareness about, these issues. The WASH Media Awards will be awarded in each of three competition languages - English, French, and Spanish - with an additional prize awarded for the best entry that deals specifically with issues related to gender and water, sanitation, or hygiene.
